Power Yoga – Total Body Workout is a DVD that has become a cornerstone of yoga as it has been around for over 10 years, yet people are still purchasing it today. It is an all encompassing yoga dvd that focuses on many different things. It provides great poses and stretches for beginners and experts alike. It’s not wonder that this dvd is the favorite of many people.

It’s apparent that Rodney Yee is a master of yoga as soon as you put in the dvd. He makes it easy to not have to watch the tv when doing his series, because he cues for the next pose so well. He really helps make yoga simple for people of all ages and skill levels.

Power Yoga is exactly as the name would lead you to believe, it focuses on speed and mobility, which in turn helps you master features such as stamina, strength and flexibility. There is a workout for each of these, and they are 20 minutes each. They’ll help you in more ways than just the ones listed, however.

Each sections starts off with a warm up before gradually getting more difficult. The warm ups are easy to follow, and help prepare the muscles for the difficult poses you’ll be doing in the rest of the video. Each start with poses such as downward dog, sun salutations and upward dog, but he keeps it flowing into poses that are designed for each goal.
